The Central Springs School District Board of Education is glad to see your interest in the activities of the school district. Learn more at www.centralsprings.net. Our Board of Education consists of five community members elected by the citizens of the district and acts to establish policies that govern the operation of the Central Springs School District.

MEETINGS

All meeting notices are announced to local media and posted on our website.

Regular meetings of the Central Springs School District Board of Education are scheduled on the third Monday of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. Meetings take place at alternating campuses in the Middle School and High School Libraries.

Special meetings are also called when necessary.

Board meeting agendas are posted on the district website at least 24 hours before a scheduled meeting. Special provisions apply in the case of an emergency meeting.

The board secretary records the minutes of the board meetings. Minutes of the previous meetings are provided for each meeting, along with the current agenda. The minutes represent official actions taken by the board, but do not include verbatim transcripts of conversations and discussions from each meeting.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

All regular and special meetings are open to the public. Individuals or groups wishing to place an item on the agenda should contact Superintendent Darwin Lehmann or 641-454-2211. To be included on the regular meeting agenda, a request must be received no later than six calendar days prior to a meeting.
