505.1 - Student Progress Reports and Conferences

Students will receive a progress report at the end of each grading period. Students, who are doing poorly, and their parents, are notified prior to the end of the trimester  in order to have an opportunity to improve their grade. The board encourages the notification of students who have made marked improvement prior to the end of the semester.

Parent-teacher-student conferences at the high school are scheduled half way through each trimester. Progress reports are issued at the P-T-S Conference. Report cards will be issued at the close of each trimester. The same procedures are followed for students in special education.

The Elementary/Middle School P-T-S- Conferences are held during the first and third nine weeks. Progress reports are issued at the P-T-S Conference. Report cards will be issued at the close of each trimester. The same procedures are followed for students in special education.

Parents, teachers, or principals may request a conference for students in grades kindergarten through twelve in addition to the scheduled conference time. Parents and students are encouraged to discuss the student's progress or other matters with the student's teacher.
